Olympian Rebecca Adlington is shocked by her husband Andy Parson’s drinking habits during their family trip to Turkey.

The sportswoman and TV star shared a tongue-in-cheek Instagram video of her partner making the most of the unlimited drinks on offer during their all-inclusive holiday, while joking to contrast with his sober habits at home.

Rebecca shared a video of Andy drinking beer and cocktails during a day at their resort and cheekily joked: “The same guy who only drinks water at home!”

Every time Andy ordered an alcoholic drink, Becky filmed, with the grand total being 10.

Andy’s drinking habits over the holidays were fully supported in the comments, with one of Becky’s followers commenting: ‘Haha! Alcohol doesn’t count on holiday, just like calories don’t count in the dark when you’re at the cinema!’

Rebecca, 35, updated her followers on her family outing with Andy and their children Summer, nine, and Albie, three.

She shared a swimsuit photo of herself over the weekend, showing off her athletic physique in the deep blue number.

Becky uploaded family selfies and said it was an “amazing week away with my favorite people!”

At the age of 19, the celebrated athlete won two gold medals in the 400 meters and the 800 meters freestyle at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

After winning bronze at the same events in London in 2012, she retired from competition in 2013 as Britain’s most decorated swimmer.

She now works as a BBC pundit, most recently covering the 2024 Paris Olympics, and also runs her own children’s swimming initiative.

Speak with The Telegraph in June about the changes in her life and body since quitting swimming, Rebecca admitted that her figure has ‘changed massively’.

‘I have been pregnant four times and have two children. Swimmers often have pancake sores, but when I had children these hips suddenly appeared.

‘I had a lot of trouble with the weight aspect. I’ve been a size 10 and am now a size 16. My wardrobe is a size mismatch. I just choose something that fits that year.’

And swimming as a hobby has faded into the background since she became a mother. She explains that she is now only in the pool once a week, compared to the 22 hours a week she used to swim in competitions.

‘Because I work full-time, I am aware that I have time for my children. I don’t want to go home to exercise without my kids. “I’m such a family girl,” she said.

“Maybe that will change in their teenage years when they go to their friends, but I’m in this golden period of ten years where I just want to be with them.”
