You never know who you'll meet abroad, as Love Island star Paige Thorne discovered in a recent interview she conducted in Britain.
A popular contestant on the eighth season of British Love Island, Thorne continues to charm her followers long after her appearance on the show.
She has successfully emerged as an influential social media personality, sharing engaging content ranging from her lifestyle and fashion choices to culinary experiences and beauty tips.
She recently came across a handsome couple on the streets of London and stopped them for a TikTok interview.
The problem? Thorne had no idea she was interviewing AFL premiership winner Collingwood star Josh Daicos and his partner, model Annalize Dalins.

Love Island UK star Paige Thorne came across Daicos and Annalize but had no idea who they were when she interviewed them
“We've been together for two and a half years now, just a little over,” Daicos told Thorne
'Cute. How did you meet?' she asked.
“I saw Annalize – we're from Melbourne, Australia – so I saw her at a bar in Melbourne on Chapel Street,” Daicos replied.
“Yes, I went there and for a month I chased her pretty hard. And then I finally caught her.”
“What's the best advice you would give new couples?” Thorne asked Dalins.
“Gee, I don't know, just spend time together and enjoy it, lots of dinners. That was kind of our favorite thing,” she replied.
“Anna always preached compromise in our relationship and I think that's a good point,” Daicos said.
“Meeting in the middle,” Anna added.
“It's something we can do quite well, I think.”
Thorne thought she was interviewing a 'luscious' couple for her social media channels – completely unaware that Daicos is one of the most famous sportspeople in Australia
It was an innocent exchange, but it wasn't until Thorne posted it online that she discovered Daicos was a big name in Australia.
'Hahaha no way!! I need to do some research,” Thorne replied when a follower informed her of the Magpies star's fame.
Countless others picked her up too.
“Paige interviewed famous Aussies and had no idea,” one follower wrote.
“This is such a random crossover. Love Island UK x Collingwood AFL,” another posted.
Daicos and Analise had been on holiday to Britain during the AFL season and took the opportunity to meet Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Premier League club operates.
