Reality pays! New report reveals the eye-watering six-figure salary this Married At First Sight star rakes in – and the rest of the cast aren’t slumming it either

There’s no denying that the brides and grooms from the hit reality series Married At First Sight can have lucrative careers as influencers after the series ends.

And the staggering earning potential of the stars of the long-running Channel Nine series from 2024 has now been revealed.

Entertainment data experts at NZ Casino have crunched the numbers to reveal how much each season 11 cast member is expected to earn from monetising their social media platforms, based on follower counts and engagement rates.

It’s no surprise that the data points to fan favorite Lucinda Light as the top earner. However, her earning potential is astonishing.

The social media sensation gained a huge social media following during her appearance on the show and now has 645,000 followers on Instagram and another 150,000 on TikTok.

When you combine this with her spoken word tour of the UK and Australia, Lucinda can rake in a staggering $221,374 annually through sponsored social media posts.

Eden Harper, who has a whopping 242,000 followers on Instagram and another 102,000 on TikTok, came in second with an annual earning potential of $96,381.

Eden is busy on social media and has already collaborated with brands such as Esmi Skin, Double Online, Pretty Little Thing and Vibe Soda.

It is estimated that MAFS season 11 star Lucinda Light has a potential to earn $221,374 per year through social media

In third place is Lauren Dunn, who, like Eden, has already forged brand partnerships with MCo Beauty, Rebecca Vallance and Dissh.

Her social following is 251,000 on Instagram and 101,000 on TikTok, which means she can potentially earn up to $93,037.

When it comes to grooms, Lucinda’s TV ex Timothy Smith tops the list with an earning potential of $88,022, which is below the national salary average of $98,000.

This figure is based on Timothy’s 225,000 followers on Instagram and 119,000 on TikTok.

In third place is Lauren Dunn, with 251,000 followers on Instagram and 101,000 followers on TikTok. This means she can potentially earn up to $93,037 per year.

Based on the data collected, the statisticians also concluded that stars accused of inauthenticity on the show tend to have fewer lucrative opportunities in the social media world after the finale.

The new data comes from Influencer Marketing Hub, which collected similar figures on the 2023 cast.

It was estimated that Melinda Willis, who had 557,000 followers on Instagram at the time (now 524,000), could charge up to $2,700 per sponsored post.

Evelyn Ellis was the second most followed bride with 403,000 followers (now 456,000), meaning she could charge brands that wanted to work with her up to $1,950.

Evelyn’s boyfriend Duncan James was the third most followed MAFS star of the final season with 317,000 followers (now 351,000).

This means he can charge brands an estimated $1,550 for each sponsored post.
