Liam Hemsworth skipped Wednesday’s AACTA ceremony despite much of the clan in attendance.
Her brother Chris Hemsworth, her parents Craig and Leonie, and sister-in-law Elsa Pataky were all on the red carpet that night.
Hemsworth’s younger brother was missing, and it was for a good reason, the daily telegraph reported on Saturday.

But in the press room, the Spanish actress, 46, turned heads for the wrong reason.
Elsa showed off the award winners while stressing about trying to capture the perfect photo to showcase her Bulgari jewelry.
Images obtained by Daily Mail Australia show Elsa looking tense before requesting that an official photographer take her photo.
“Elsa was very unhappy and kept asking for the picture to be retaken and delayed the press room and other winners,” a witness said.
There was some drama to the night as Elsa held up the award winners while stressing over trying to capture the perfect photo to showcase her Bulgari jewelry.
“First she was upset because her makeup had run and she needed to reapply it. She was asking if anyone had concealer.
At one point Elsa’s assistant was heard complaining about a wrinkle in her dress.
“Minutes passed and Elsa and her caretaker were still upset about the crease, and even considered going back to the green room to use a hair dryer to fix it and going back into the room to take pictures, it was just weird.”
Earlier in the evening, Chris and Elsa looked every inch the A-list couple as they walked the red carpet.
