However, Real believe they have been pushed further out of the title race due to a refereeing agenda against them, accusing Bengoetxea of deliberately ‘harming’ Carlo Ancelotti’s men to leave them behind Barca.

But Madrid believe they were on the wrong side of an arbitration conspiracy in Sunday’s game.
