Real Madrid ‘set to make Jude Bellingham their second-HIGHEST earner’

REVEALED: Jude Bellingham will have to settle for being only Real Madrid’s SECOND HIGHEST earner behind one star who rarely even plays as they offer him a huge six-year deal with a £875m escape clause

  • The England international would be approaching a lucrative transfer to Spain
  • He was initially linked with Liverpool, who have since pulled out of a deal
  • Now Bellingham is poised to join European champions Real this summer

According to reports, Jude Bellingham will become Real Madrid’s second highest earner now that his contract has been announced.

The England star has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in recent weeks after Liverpool pulled out of a deal for the midfielder from Borussia Dortmund.

Now the details of his proposed contract with Real Madrid have been revealed, as reported by SER Deportivos.

The report says Bellingham will sign a six-year contract, making him the club’s second-highest earner, behind Eden Hazard.

In addition, Bellingham will have a reported release clause of £875 million, the equivalent of €1 billion.

Although it was reported earlier this week that Los Blancos being close to an agreement on the move, the transfer fee is still undisclosed.

SER Deportivos continue to report that the transfer ‘operation’ took a huge turn in Real Madrid’s favor in recent weeks as Liverpool wiped themselves out of the race.

This was down to the ‘high cost’ of the transfer alongside ‘problems in confirming their Champions League qualification’, which was important for Bellingham next season.

It was therefore believed that Manchester City and Real Madrid were the only sides for Bellingham this summer, while Paris Saint-Germain watched from a distance.

With the Englishman having already told Los Blancos of his desire to join them, negotiations are believed to go smoothly, while Real Madrid’s strong relationship with Borussia Dortmund will hope in agreeing a fee.

The Champions League champions have yet to make a bid for Dortmund and are likely to propose an initial £100m fee, but expect no problems in agreeing a final fee as Bellingham is expected to become a Real Madrid player in July.

June Calafat, Real Madrid’s chief scout, is said to have met Bellingham’s father in London last month.

It remains to be seen when a deal will be announced, but with the latest reports it is believed that Bellingham will pen a lucrative deal in Spain.
