Jude Bellingham looks set to move to Madrid and become their second highest earner

Madrid are also reportedly eyeing a possible world record deal for Kylian Mbappé and are targeting Jude Bellingham.

The PSG star, 24, signed a three-year contract ahead of the 2022-23 season and is said to be earning more than £547 million.

Madrid made their interest in Mbappé clear in 2021 when they made a £154 million final bid for the Ligue 1 star in an attempt to pry him away from Paris.

Mbappe has been heavily linked with Madrid in previous spells and now Los Blancos believe they can convince him to leave PSG, according to The Telegraph.

The newspaper reported that the Spanish giants hope to capitalize on the ongoing “uncertainty” at the French club.

Meanwhile, Bellingham appears Real Madrid-bound and is on course to become the club’s second-highest earner this summer.

Real looks set to face competition from Manchester City and Liverpool, who were both interested in the England midfielder, although the Reds pulled out of the race in April.

The Spanish club are in the driver’s seat, with Bild reporting they will pay Bellingham £17.4 million a year (£334,000 a week).

The fee to be paid to Dortmund is expected to be in the region of £130 million, with the England star turning down a new deal at the Bundesliga club, according to reports, said to be worth around £230,000 a week.
