Real Housewives star’s stepson is arrested for storming the Capitol on January 6 after his glamorous Trump-loving stepmom incriminated him with Facebook posts during the riot saying ‘Stay safe Tyler #StopTheSteal’

The stepson of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Sigalit “Siggy” Flicker was arrested in connection with the January 6 riots after the reality TV star shared footage of him storming the Capitol.

Tyler Campanella, 27, was arrested Wednesday in New York City on five felony charges in connection with the attack, with his presence at the riot apparently confirmed by Flicker on social media.

In a Facebook post from that day, Flicker – who was not at the riot – shared images with the caption: “I love patriots so much. Stay safe Tyler. We love you #StopTheSteal.”

According to an FBI affidavit, Campanella was ensnared by witness statements and open source footage shared online, with further footage of NBC reportedly showed him as part of a group targeting Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office.

Dailymail.com has contacted Flicker’s representative for comment on the story.

Flicker has made no secret of her support for Donald Trump, and her Instagram profile image (pictured) shows her with the former president and her husband Michael Campanella, holding the Israeli flag.

Campanella was featured in social media photos Flicker, 56, posted to her social media pages, according to an FBI affidavit — including one she captioned with the hashtag #StopTheSteal

Campanella’s phone was located at the U.S. Capitol on the day of the attacks, according to the FBI, which cited phone records it had subpoenaed in its investigation.

He works as a sales manager at Bayside Chrysler, which the FBI said it confirmed by talking to his coworkers.

According to NBC News, footage from inside the Capitol during the melee “appears to show the man identified by federal authorities as Campanella entering then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s suite.”

The report added that he was part of a group caught when they “walked into the room where Pelosi’s laptop was stolen.”

Flicker, who appeared on the Bravo series’ seventh and eighth seasons, is an avid Trump supporter, as she identifies herself as an “Israeli/American patriot” with the hashtag #MAGA on her Instagram page.

Her main photo on her account, which has more than 644,000 followers, is a photo of her standing next to Trump and her husband Michael Campanella, holding the Israeli flag.

Other notable names close to Trump that she has been seen posing with in photos on her page include former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, comedian Roseanne Barr and Trump’s current lawyer Alina Habba.

She is also seen in several selfies posing outside Trump’s private jet.

There is no evidence that Flicker himself was at the Caption on the day of the attacks, which led to the deaths of seven people, according to a bipartisan Senate report cited in The New York Times in October 2022.

Flicker denied being in Washington DC during the time frame of the attacks in a January 13, 2021 video she posted to her Instagram account, urging followers not to believe all the nonsense out there.

She said: ‘I’m getting fake news alerts again! Supposedly they say I was at the Capitol for the rally on January 6th. Not me. But the girl whose photo I don’t know has better be beautiful.’

Flicker continued in the clip, “I have been in Florida since December 3rd. Back to Jersey soon. Hey, but you know what I have to say? Just keep me relevant, that’s all I have to say!’

According to NBC News, more than 1,387 people have been charged in connection with the January 6 attacks, with 984 convictions. The newspaper noted that “the vast majority” of those suspected of the attack admitted they had been criminally charged or found guilty at trial.

A total of 15 people linked to the attack remain in custody ahead of their trial, more than three years after the attacks — and six months ahead of a likely presidential election rematch between Biden and Trump.
