Real Housewives of Potomac’s Robyn Dixon defends Gizelle Bryant’s style

Gizelle Bryant’s dubious sense of style has been a hot topic among her Real Housewives of Potomac castmates and viewers of the show.

But her best friend and co-star Robyn Dixon has championed Gizelle’s sartorial chops and also accused some of their fellow housewives of being less than great in the wardrobe department.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia this week, the 43-year-old said she’s happy to let Gizelle ‘do her own thing’ when it comes to fashion.

“She’s a very confident woman and she likes what she likes, so if she were to ask me for advice, I would definitely give my honest opinion,” she explained.

“But she likes what she likes, so there’s no point in telling her my opinion of anything.”

Robyn then said she found it interesting that some of her castmates, who have also had their own fashion faux pas, decided to single out Gizelle.

‘I burst into tears after it was Candiace’ [Dillard] and Karen [Huger] those sounded about Gizelle’s confessional, and the ones I saw coming out shortly after weren’t the best either,” she said.

“So I just feel like people should be careful before attacking someone. We shouldn’t be throwing rocks, because you never know when the same criticism will come back to you,” Robyn continued.

“It was so comical to me, hilarious, when their pictures came out and everyone thought, ‘What a minute? They’re talking about Gizelle and they look like this?'”

Robyn said there’s plenty of drama in store for fans of RHOP, including a physical altercation between Mia Thornton and Wendy Osefo.

Some fans jumped in Gizelle’s defense, with one pointing to Candiace and Karen’s style

“I think this is going to be one of those situations where people are divided over where they find the flaw,” she said cryptically.

“They were both wrong for their behavior, but people will be divided on whether Mia was justified in doing what she did,” she added.

In this season of the Real Housewives of Potomac, Robyn and her betrothed ex-husband, Juan Dixon, try to strike a prenup before walking down the aisle for the second time.

Meanwhile, Ashley Darby is dealing with a confusing divorce from Australian husband Michael, while Candiace Dillard is freezing her eggs as she tries to balance her burgeoning music career and tumultuous marriage to Chris Bassett.

A dramatic season trailer also shows Mia swinging a drink at rival Wendy, while fan favorite Karen Huger loses her temper against longtime friend Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.

Outside of the show, Robyn is busy with her successful Embellished hat line and her hit podcast Reasonably Shady with Gizelle.
