Lisa Oldfield sent fans wild on Sunday when she gave a sneak peek into her engagement to boyfriend James ‘Jimbo’ Laws.

He couldn’t miss the bling on her ring finger, which he held up to the camera, sparking rumours of an engagement.

“Oh my god congratulations!” one person wrote in the comments, while another added: “New ring huh? Not such a subtle engagement?”

“Um, hello sweetie… are you Mrs. Big Boy?” one asked, while someone else added, “Are congratulations in order?”

And someone else asked, “Is that a diamond ring?” and another chimed in, “Woohoo! Congratulations!”

Lisa and James, who started dating in 2019, have been madly in love with each other for some time now.

In 2019, just eight months after announcing her split from her husband of 18 years, former One Nation co-founder David Oldfield, Lisa spoke to James about marriage.

Speaking of the Kyle and Jackie O show The mother of two said at the time that she and her businessman boyfriend could get married as early as next year.

“I think we’ll be married by the end of next year,” she said of her boyfriend, whom she had been dating for seven months at the time.

“He’s the real deal. He’s a super nice guy, supportive, so great with my boys,” the former reality star added.

Lisa has two sons with her ex-husband David: Harry (13) and Bert (11). Despite their bitter divorce, they continue to share parenting.

“Divorce is terrible… David, dear boy, we were best friends for 15 years… no one cheated on us. Love died,” Lisa said.

It comes after Lisa told The Daily Telegraph that she was in financial trouble after her breakup with David.

“Last year the ground was pulled out from under my feet,” she told the newspaper at the time.

“I had to find money to pay legal fees, find a new house, and all the other living expenses. I was at my wits’ end.”

The reality star claims she “never paid a bill” and left all financial decisions to her husband.

“I’m embarrassed to say this, but I don’t think I ever paid a bill until this year, even though I paid the bills,” she said.

Lisa says she has since gained control of her money and will “never let a man” manage her finances again.
