Real Housewives of Sydney star Lisa Oldfield sparks concern as she reveals bleeding head injury – after being rushed to hospital with heart problems

Lisa Oldfield has left fans worried after sharing a photo on Instagram showing her bleeding from her head.

The Real Housewives of Sydney star shared a photo on Sunday showing a thick streak of blood running from her scalp down her forehead.

“I am literally the clumsiest person on the planet,” the 49-year-old wrote in her caption.

‘I had to sneeze really hard and hit my head against the door I was trying to close at that moment.’

Her fans expressed their concern in the comments, with one writing, “Oh dear! I hope you’re doing well!”

Another said: ‘Oh my god poor soul get better’, while someone else added: ‘Oh my god. Sad but funny too. I hope it heals soon’.

And someone else wrote: ‘Oh, so sorry, dear Lisa’ and another said: ‘Oh my god, that looks pretty bad. I hope you are well and not in too much discomfort’.

It comes after Lisa was was rushed to hospital in March.

The former reality star shared the news on Instagram at the time, along with an image of a heart rate monitor.

“I thought it was the excitement of winning on Saturday, but it turns out I have myocarditis,” she began.

“It’s a little scary, but with a lot of rest I should recover 100 percent,” she continued.

Lisa’s post was quickly flooded with people wishing her well.

“I hope you feel better soon, Lisa,” one fan wrote, followed by a red heart.

“Get well soon, honey,” added another.

“Is it because of your vaccine? Several friends of mine also have myocarditis and got it after they got vaccinated,” asked another.

Lisa was quick to respond to their concerns.

“No, because of my osteomyelitis from my broken toe,” she replied.

According to the May Clinic, “myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle. The inflammation can reduce the heart’s ability to pump blood.

‘Myocarditis can cause chest pain, shortness of breath, and fast or irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias). A viral infection is a cause of myocarditis.’
