In the clip, which has been viewed more than 3.7 million times to date, Ally films mom Jill as the couple get ready for their cruise trip that stops in Croatia, Italy and Greece.
She begins, “So I smuggled my Diet Coke in from the States because they don’t sell it in Europe. They only have Coke Light and Coke Zero and it sucks.
“But I think one exploded.”
Jill then decides to carefully unzip the bag as Ally enters: “She literally packed a case of Diet Coke.
“I’m a little nervous it’s going to explode.”
The Real Housewives star slowly lifts the lid to reveal the stash that lasts “two weeks.”
However, several cans are bursting with the Diet Coke, which appears to have wetted the inside of the case.
Ally whispers “Jesus Christ” in disbelief as Jill continues to move the bottles before the clip ends.
Other social media users were quick to flood the comments with their own take on the scheme – many also stated that Diet Coke exists in Europe
Other social media users quickly flooded the comments with their own thoughts on the scheme.
Many were also quick to point out that Diet Coke is available in Europe.
One wrote, “Everyone is arguing about Diet Coke vs. Diet Coke, but why isn’t anyone worrying about the unhinged behavior of carrying a suitcase full of DC?!”
Another added: “For two weeks? That would take a few months!’
And a third said, “FYI, we have Diet Coke in Europe!”

After the comment, Ally posted a follow-up video of Jill further explaining the situation.
She begins, “I appreciate everyone’s comments, but I contacted the ship before I left New York and was duly advised that they only have Coke Light and Coke Zero.”
Jill holds a silver can to the camera and continues, “So even though it looks like Diet Coke, it says Diet Coke.
“And it doesn’t taste like Diet Coke. That’s just not the case.’
