Real Housewives of New York's Erin Lichy is starting 2024 with a bang as her landlord takes her to court.
The 36-year-old reality star and her husband Abraham Lichy owe $43,950 in unpaid rent on their two-story New York City apartment, according to the newspaper. TMZ.
The landlord claims Erin and Abraham have been leasing the lot since July 2019, but claims the couple failed to pay rent and other fees from October 2021 to July 2023, according to court documents obtained by the outlet.
Erin and Abraham's rep told TMZ that the couple was “stunned” by the lawsuit, as the landlord had written them a “glowing letter of recommendation” when they moved.
The representative presented the letter of recommendation and said it “further demonstrates that the Lichys were exemplary tenants and left of their own free will with an excellent reputation.

This lawsuit has no merit and is just an example of someone trying to get their 5 [sic] minutes at someone else's expense.'
The landlord claims that Erin and Abraham were required by their lease to pay a monthly rent of $13,500, due on the first of each month.
However, according to the claim, they often submitted late payments, missed late fees, issued bounced checks and occasionally failed to pay rent at all.
The landlord is also seeking reimbursement of attorney fees in the amount of $12,900.
Meanwhile, Erin — who claimed the RHONY cast didn't speak after the dramatic reunion — has made a new one for herself as a member of the RHONY reboot.
The socialite stirred the drama during an argument over restaurant reservations in New York.
She is also quite successful, as she received her bachelor's degree from the State University at Albany and her master's degree in real estate development from New York University, according to the New York Times.
Erin tied the knot with Abraham at the ages of 24 and 29 respectively.
