Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer surprises fans with her acting debut in a short film

Although her time on the Real Housewives of New York City may be over, it seems Ramona Singer has no plans to leave the big screen.

The 66-year-old reality star, who exited the housewives franchise last year, surprised fans to discover that she is starring in a short film titled Friendly Distractions, which is currently in production.

One particular clip from the upcoming movie, originally shared by director Adrian Lopez on his Facebook – has gone viral and features Singer (Natalie) sitting on the couch and talking on the phone with her on-screen daughter Ella (played by Claire Tyers), while questioning whether Ella is a lesbian.

After Ella tells her mother that she is getting a divorce, Singer begins to question her before finally asking, “Are you a lesbian?” to which her daughter replies: ‘I have to go’.

Singer’s performance received mixed reviews from fans, who questioned his new career choice.
