Aussies are outraged after a driver’s ‘rude’ act on a suburban street blocked by another car, prompting a neighbor to leave a note describing the behaviour.
A woman visiting her relative’s home in Newcastle, New South Wales, was forced to drive her 4WD through the front garden after a careless driver parked in the home’s driveway.
The visitor slowly maneuvered her 4WD vehicle around the cramped yard, prompting a neighbor watching to leave a handwritten note under the windshield wipers of the parked car.
The passerby wanted to let the car owner know what inconvenience he had caused and did not hold back.

A passerby watched the commotion and decided to leave a note (photo) for the owner of the parked car so that they were aware of the drama they caused
‘On your next visit, please do not park in the driveway! It’s just damn rude!,β the note said.
Drivers joked online that they wouldn’t have left a “friendly” note.

Despite the obvious inconvenience of being trapped when someone parks across a driveway, it can also prevent people from receiving emergency care because it blocks access for ambulances.
It is also seen as a safety risk for pedestrians who struggle to access a site, and it can also limit visibility for road users to see who is using the footpath.
In NSW it is illegal for motorists to stop in a driveway unless they are picking up or dropping off passengers.
The driver must remain in the vehicle and must continue driving within two minutes. Parking is strictly prohibited, according to state law.
In NSW, a motorist who parks in a driveway faces a $302 fine for the offence, while Queenslanders could face a $309 fine.
For safety reasons, it is also illegal to park in your own driveway.
A Sydney man who lived opposite a school was fined in 2016 after parking in his driveway to avoid other cars blocking his way during school pick-up and drop-off, reported Yahoo.
