I’m okay with admitting that I’m extremely late to the party for something great, which happens often. The latest is the Re-Ment collection highly detailed, miniature Kirby collectibles. They’re nothing new, but I came across them recently and it was an awakening for me. Normally I don’t let things like this bother me, but I just can’t resist them.
This is the most appealing set for me 6-piece set of decorated words featuring Kirby and other well-known in-game characters and items. With words like ‘Welcome’, ‘Café’ and one that just says ‘Zz’, it makes sense to sprinkle them around the house where you think they are most appropriate. Amazon Japan is selling the set for $45.27 with free shipping to US customers. Stock comes and goes there, but the set is currently available. PlazaJapan has the set for $35.18, but you’ll pay quite a bit extra for shipping. If you want just one word instead of all six, you can pick any word from the set in a blind box Blippo for $17.91 each.

There’s another great Kirby set available from Amazon, with stackable dioramas of Kirby and other characters doing things in different rooms. Cooking takes place in one room, while other pieces feature Kirby and co. bathing, partying, eating, sleeping or cooking. There’s currently no discount for this set (other than the fact that shipping is free and fast), but it’s still not a bad deal $54.95.

On the PlazaJapan site, Re-ment is stunning Pikmin set of mini terrariums is another one I need to own. The six-piece set shows several scenarios commonly encountered during a Pikmin play session. There’s one where Pikmin team up to carry an orange, one where Captain Olimar picks a red Pikmin off the ground, and one where Pikmin face off against an enemy (where a Pikmin spirit ascends to Pikmin Heaven, from it assuming such a place exists). There are three more I could describe, but you can check out the full collection for yourself above. It costs $42.22 to pre-order the full set (excluding taxes and shipping), and it’s expected to ship on April 30.
