Here comes the money! Raygun ‘being courted’ by I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! producers to enter the jungle in 2025
Controversial Olympic athlete Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn is being ‘courted’ by producers of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia to appear in their upcoming series.
The 36-year-old breakdancer rose to fame after her disastrous performance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, which became the most talked about moment of the competition.
And Channel Ten is ‘very interested’ in signing the Sydney-born athlete as they believe she would be a great addition to the show, an insider told TV this week New idea magazine.
“Raygun would be the perfect campmate. The audience will want to hear her story in the jungle. Like her or not, she has everyone talking,” they began.
They added that Raygun’s unique style had quickly captivated the audience and that her participation in the show would definitely attract people.
“It’s these viral moments and the water cooler conversations that IAC wants to capitalize on.”
Raygun’s unique Olympic routine, which saw her perform kangaroo jumps and at one point wriggle across the floor like a snake, prompted a flood of ridicule online.
Her routine also failed to impress the judges and earned her zero points, placing her in last place in the gruelling competition.
