Rachael Gunn will break her silence in a revealing television interview with The Project on Wednesday night.
Gunn, who performs under her stage name Raygun, became an overnight sensation with her unique take on breakdancing during the first women’s competition at the Paris Olympics.
The 37-year-old will talk about the viral moment that catapulted her to international fame on the Channel 10 panel show.
In a preview clip for the upcoming episode, host Waleed Aly asks the athlete: “Do you really think you are the best female athlete in Australia?”
Rachael hesitates for a moment and then answers, “Well, I think my track record indicates that.”
Following the teaser, Sarah Harris, Kate Langbroek and Sam Taunton from The Project expressed their excitement for the exclusive broadcast, calling it ‘the interview everyone wants’.
It seems that Rachael is on her way to a career in television, with all three commercial networks reportedly trying to strike a deal with her.
According to a TV insider, fans can look forward to the academic appearing on at least one highly rated reality show next year.

“The future of one of the world’s most talked about Australians, Raygun, is currently being negotiated with multiple TV offers,” the source said Yahoo Lifestyle.
According to the insider, the networks don’t want to “share” Gunn.
“They are looking for exclusive network deals that can last 12 to 24 months, thereby blocking other opportunities for competing programming,” they explained.
Another source described Gunn as one of the most “in-demand names” in Australia at the moment, and said competing networks could eventually cast Gunn in a celebrity reality show, such as SAS Australia or Dancing with the Stars.
They added: ‘A number of talent agents have been circling the viral superstar since her memorable dance at the Paris Olympics went viral. The exact direction she will take will be revealed at any moment and whichever network she signs with will be telling.’
This follows rumours earlier this month that Dancing with the Stars bosses were keen to sign Gunn for the upcoming season.

Raygun became an international star after scoring zero points during the competition, losing all three of her round-robin bouts by a combined score of 54-0.
Although her performance, which saw her hopping around like a kangaroo and wriggling like a snake, didn’t serve her well at the international tournament, DWTS seems excited about her contribution to the successful dance competition.
An insider told DailyMail.com exclusively that they would like to offer the athlete the chance to capitalise on her Olympic disaster and improve her image so she is no longer the ‘laughing stock’.
They added that they think Rachael is a “good match” and that they “would love to talk to her.”
‘Dancing with the Stars has had great dancers, terrible dancers, and pop culture favorites for years and Raygun is now one of their targets for the upcoming season.
‘They are looking for people until the last minute and always want to stay up to date with what people are talking about.
‘That’s why they always go after Housewives, Bachelor franchise people, political names and this year Olympians and the Hawk Tuah girl.

“If they think someone can provide the reviews, they will consider it.”
The source added: ‘People stay on Dancing with the Stars for longer than 15 minutes and as for Raygun, the producers would like to talk to her to see if she is a good fit for the upcoming season.
‘Dancing with the Stars is a show where people can redeem themselves and this could be the perfect way for Rachael to no longer be the butt of ridicule.’
‘Dancing is making an offer.’
The exciting development on Dancing with the Stars follows a marketing expert’s prediction that Raygun will make millions from her newfound fame.
