Raye looked absolutely sensational in a navy blue dress as she performed at Lollapalooza Music Festival in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday.

The 26-year-old British singer looked stunning in the stylish strapless dress, which perfectly accentuated her slim figure.

She wore a matching navy scarf and accessorised with a pair of stunning silver floral earrings.

Record-breaking British award-winner Raye was in high spirits as she sang her hits for the American audience.

She put on an incredible show for her fans as she danced on stage and was accompanied by her band.

It comes after Raye was moved at Capital’s Summertime Ball when she gave an emotional speech about people who have been victims of sexual violence, also referring to her own experiences.

She made these statements when announcing her song Ice Cream Man during the concert at Wembley Stadium in June.

The song is about Raye who was sexually abused at the age of 17 by a music producer, who pushed his hand between her legs.

“I wanted to sing this song for you today,” Raye said. “I don’t know why exactly. Maybe it’s because I need to sing this song for myself.

“This is a really difficult topic. So when I started looking into the statistics and the statistics were that one in four women and men will experience some form of sexual violence in their lifetime.”

Raye added: “And that’s a quarter of you. That’s 20,000 people in this place who can relate to the words of this song, which blows my mind because I know most of us walk around pretending that everything is fine – and sometimes it’s not.

“Sometimes you gotta talk loudly about things you’ve been silent about your whole life. I can do that in my music, so forgive the sad subject matter of this song.”

At the end of the emotional song, Raye said, “Thank you for putting up with me. Yeah, it’s a lot.”

The star previously revealed she was forced to sign a record deal in America after criticising the British music industry over the assault.

British labels turned their backs on the star after she revealed on MeToo at the age of 17 how she had been assaulted by a music producer who had pushed his hand between her legs.

Raye – real name Rachel Agatha Keen – told how the attack left her addicted to alcohol and drugs to cope, and how it took a huge toll on her career.

The hitmaker, from Tooting, south London, said: ‘Every girl I know in this industry has some kind of story to tell. The studio is such a vulnerable space.

‘And if you say something, you create an enemy who spreads rumors or blacklists you. And you need those connections to open doors for yourself.

‘Although people largely determine what is consumed outside the home, the music industry is still a closed society within its walls.’

She signed with Polydor in 2014, but to her frustration, the label refused to release her music. After she criticized the label in a lengthy social media tirade, they split in 2021.

Her debut album My 21st Century Blues was released independently last year and she is now signed to Orchard Records in New York, a subsidiary of Sony.

Raye broke records at the BRIT Awards in March, winning six awards at a star-studded ceremony at London’s O2 Arena.
