Ray Liotta’s daughter Karsen, 25, attends premiere of his last movie 1992 two years after his death

The late Ray Liotta’s 25-year-old daughter, Karsen, attended the Los Angeles premiere of his final film, 1992, in his place on Tuesday.

Ray died in his sleep in May 2022 at the age of 67 from acute heart failure and pulmonary edema while in the Dominican Republic filming the movie Dangerous Waters.

Karsen gave a loving speech in Ray’s memory last year, when he was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This week, she paid tribute to the GoodFellas star again, hitting the red carpet in honor of his final film, 1992, which comes out Friday.

The cast includes Tyrese Gibson and Scott Eastwood and the film is set during the infamous Los Angeles riots of April and May 1992.

Karsen, who has followed in her father’s footsteps and taken up acting, looked the part right away when she showed up at the film’s screening.

She wore a trendy black blazer dress, paired with matching heels and a black clutch.

Ray became an indelible figure in Hollywood history when he played real-life gangster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s madcap 1990 crime drama GoodFellas.

His later films include the 2012 biographical film The Iceman, directed by Israeli filmmaker Ariel Vromen, with whom he collaborated again in 1992.

In May 2022, the shocking news broke that Ray had died in his sleep at a hotel in the Dominican Republic, where he was working on the film Dangerous Waters.

A year later it finally became clear that he had died of pulmonary edema (fluid in his lungs) and acute heart failure.

The Shades Of Blue star was also suffering from atherosclerosis, a narrowing of his arteries, at the time of his death.

Three of his films were released posthumously, the year after his death – Dangerous Waters, Cocaine Bear and Fool’s Paradise – before 1992 finally premieres this week.

In February 2023, nine months after his death, Ray received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and received loving tributes from both Karsen and Jacy Nittolo, 49, who had been his fiancée at the end of his life.

“I am so touched to accept this honor on behalf of my father,” Karsen said in her speech. “I could not be more proud of him. He was a one-of-a-kind actor and the best friend, brother and father anyone could ask for. I am so lucky to have you.”

She continued movingly: “If you have a Ray in your life, you are lucky. I love you so much. Thank you for your work and the impact you have made on me and everyone who loves you. Everyone deserves a Ray in their life.”

This past January, Karsen and Jacy walked the red carpet together at the Emmys in honor of Ray, who was posthumously nominated for the miniseries Black Bird.

Ray shared Karsen with his ex-wife Michelle Grace, to whom he was married from 1997 until their amicable divorce in 2004.

Karsen was joined in the 1992 film by several of her late father’s co-stars, including Scott Eastwood and Tyrese Gibson.

Eastwood smouldered for photographers as he arrived in a light gray suit styled with a crisp blue shirt. He completed his chic outfit with brown dress shoes.

The son of Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood looked exactly like his famous father.

Tyrese looked stylish in a tailored brown suit as he arrived hand-in-hand with his glamorous girlfriend Zelie Timothy.

To accentuate the red piping on his jacket, the actor wore red velvet loafers and a red hat.

Tyrese also received support from his Fast & Furious co-stars Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel.

Rodriguez held Diesel’s hand as they walked the red carpet together.

She looked tough in a cropped leather jacket and tight trousers, while Diesel kept it casual and cool in grey jeans and sunglasses.

The trio gathered to pose for photos during the star-studded festivities.

Snoop Dogg was also in attendance on Tuesday night.

For the premiere, the rapper wore a blue flannel shirt over an embellished T-shirt and white sweatpants.

He shook hands with Eastwood and Tyrese before posing for a photo with the handsome co-stars.
