Ray Bouderau, producer of ‘Bill and Ted’ comedy franchise sequel, arrested alongside girlfriend

One of the producers of the movie Bill and Ted: Face the Music has been arrested along with his girlfriend for burglarizing the homes of a woman in Manhattan and Sag Harbor.

Raymond Bouderau, 49, and Jacqueline Jewett, 57, were arrested Tuesday for attacking the property of her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.

Jewett and Bouderau, who worked on the 2020 sequel to the 1980s classic with Keanu Reeves, netted more than $1 million worth of guns, jewelry, art, wine and cash.

The burglaries took place at two houses, one in Manhattan and the other in Sag Harbor on Long Island, both belonging to Jewett’s ex-boyfriend’s mistress.

Jewett, a divorced mother of six, allegedly masterminded the robberies because she knew the woman was on vacation and used the victim’s iCloud data to track her movements.

Bouderau and Jewett were arrested on November 30, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office.

District Attorney Raymond Tierney said: “If there’s one thing this case illustrates, it’s that life isn’t like the movies, and in Suffolk County, if you steal other people’s property.”

He continued: “Whether at gunpoint or, in this case, through the planning of an elaborate heist, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, along with our law enforcement partners, will be after you and They will hold you accountable.” ‘

Bouderau and Jewett face felony charges of grand theft. The AR-15 that was recovered had the serial number blacked out and is commonly referred to as a ‘ghost gun’.

Tierney said: “Images of artwork and some stolen materials were found on Bouderau’s phone, and it is believed that he was looking at various artworks to try to determine their value.”

The prosecutor said the couple broke into the Sag Harbor home on September 22 through a basement window.

While they were downstairs, the duo cut the power. From there, Bouderau and Jewett broke into several safes and vandalized the house.

Jewett, a Connecticut resident, turned herself in to authorities when she discovered there was a warrant out for her arrest.

On September 25, the couple broke into the woman’s Manhattan home. The couple was linked to both crimes through iCloud data and a license plate reader. Bouderau’s truck was used in both crimes, the prosecutor said.

When an arrest warrant was served at Bouderau’s Manhattan home on November 30, investigators found an AR-15 rifle, 50 bottles of wine and 750 grams of ketamine, also known as Special K.

The same day, Jewett admitted his role in the robbery. According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, Bouderau is being represented by the Legal Aid Society.

On the Living the Dream Films website, Bouderau is listed as CEO.

His biography reads: ‘Bouderau has had a lifelong loving relationship with film and television. From restaurant and bar owner to New York City construction and real estate, Ray keeps pushing himself to the limits of everyday life.

He says he’s worked with stars like Amanda Seyfreid, Alec Baldwin, Johnny Depp, Adam Levine, and Taylor Schilling.

The profile links to various social media pages, all of which have been disabled at the time of his arrest.

In a 2018 interview, Bouderau said: ‘I’m a philanthropist. I’ve been lucky in life so I feel it’s my duty to give back and also help bring attention to those less fortunate.’

During that piece, he credits being sober with helping him achieve his life goals. Bouderau worked with Baldwin, as well as Emilio Estevez and Christian Slater, on the 2018 film The Public.

His most recent film, a World War II film titled Burning at Both Ends, was not widely released.

The Guardian review said the film had ‘the core of a good idea’ but that ‘the timid film fails to fully capitalize on [the] awkward stage and misses opportunities elsewhere, instead prides itself on its self-satisfied devotions to fighting the fair fight.’

According to your LinkedIn page, Jewett is a resident of Westbrook, Connecticut. He graduated from St. Lawrence University and the State University of New York.

At the time of her arrest, Jewett says she was working as a college admissions counselor.

While on Facebook, Jewett refers to herself as: ‘Courageous-Resilient-Connector-Leader-Listener-Educator-Mentor-Friend-ATM (Amazing Fabulous Mom)’.

Court records show Jewett is being held on $400,000 bail, while Bouderau’s was set at $650,000.

speaking to news day, Jewett’s lawyer, Gerard McCloskery, said: “She pleaded not guilty.” She is a 57 year old woman who has never had any legal problems in her life.

Jewett turned herself in to authorities on November 30 after being told there was a warrant out for her arrest.
