Raw Fury’s Steam sale is the perfect excuse to try Cassette Beasts’ multiplayer update

Cassette beasts, the sometimes strange, but always adorable creature-collecting game from publisher Raw Fury, just received a free update, allowing you to play and battle with up to eight friends. This should be the only excuse you need to get rid of the Raw Fury Publisher Sale on Steam, which has been discounted Cassette beasts and other pixel-heavy hits through June 3 at their lowest price ever.

Normally $19.99, Cassette beasts is currently on sale for just $13.99 on Steam. While the excellent Piers of the unknown No DLC is required to access this update; the expansion with a new location, storyline and monsters is also on sale for just $4.89 (was $6.99).

There are plenty of other excellent Raw Fury games on sale too, so we’ve picked out a few of our favorites that we think you should check out below.

Friends vs friends, the fast-paced, cel-shaded arena-shooter-meets-deckbuilder, is now available for just $4.99 on Steam (was $9.99). Earn booster packs to build a stack of one-off buffs and weapons to turn the tables on your future friends.

Snufkin: The Ballad of Moomin Valley is a charming and surprisingly anti-authoritarian adventure title that is currently marked down to just $17.99 Steam ($19.99).

If you’ve ever wondered what Stardew Valley looks like if you could collect Pokémon, then you might want to book a trip to Moonstone Island. This cozy farming-sim-meets-creature collector is currently on sale on Steam for $13.99 (was $19.99).

Farm, Marry, Kill is the mantra Atomicrops, the bullet-hell farming sim that we still consider one of the best roguelikes you can play right now. Originally $14.99, you can pick it up Atomicrops on Steam for just $2.99.
