Raul Jimenez will leave Wolves’ training camp in Portugal and is set for a medical at Fulham on Monday after a £5.5 million fee was agreed.
John Percy of The Telegraph also reports that Daniel Podence is also expected to leave during this period after remaining in England and training on his own with Compton.
The Mexican was one of the standouts in Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves squad, which finished seventh in the Premier League in 2018/19 and 2019/20 on their return to the top flight.
However, a horrific head injury suffered in a challenge with Arsenal’s David Luiz in November 2020 would end his momentum as one of the underrated strikers in the Premier League.
Since the injury, he has scored just nine times in all competitions as he recovered from the career-threatening mishap, and has proven to be a shadow of the player he had shown to be.

Now, however, his fortune could improve if he changes his environment.
Jimenez has been a bit of a liminal presence at Molineux lately, making just 15 Premier League appearances in 2022/23 – down from 34 in the season before.
Due to the arrival of Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan lately, his place in the hierarchy has fallen to such an extent that he will probably be allowed to leave this summer by Julen Lopetegui.
The Mexican hitman made 166 appearances for Wolves, scoring 57 goals and assisting a further 24, having joined after an impressive spell at Benfica in Portugal after the World Cup in Russia.
