Rasmus Hojlund’s coach has dropped a major hint about the Danish striker’s future amid mounting speculation over a move to Manchester United.
After the acquisition of Mason Mount, Erik ten Hag’s next target is a striker and goalkeeper and Atalanta’s Hojlund have been linked with Old Trafford in a deal that will cost the Red Devils around £50 million.
And a cheeky Instagram video posted by his trainers ENERGETIX Copenhagen has hinted at another move for the 20-year-old after one season with Atalanta.
A caption read ‘We are ready for the future’, accompanied by a soothing emoji and the grime music of Stormzy – a well-known Manchester United fan.
The Red Devils are confident that they can reach an agreement on Hojlund, despite Atalanta’s initially high price tag on the Danish striker.

Mail Sport’s Chris Wheeler previously noted that Man United were making smart decisions about retaining players and choosing cheaper alternatives in a bid to comply with financial fair play rules.
Hojlund played 34 games for Atalanta last season, scoring 10 goals and also providing two assists.
He helped the club finish fifth in Serie A, and they qualified for next season’s Europa League competition.
However, circumstances suggest that his stay in Italy was short-lived.
Despite the initial appreciation, Manchester United are on the hunt for the Atalanta striker
He has not only proven himself at club level, but has also proven to be an invaluable influence on the international stage.
He has also scored six goals in four appearances so far in Denmark’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, which puts him level with Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku.
