Rasmus Hojlund has arrived for his medical at Manchester United as the club aim to make the Atalanta striker their third signing of the summer.

The 20-year-old will undergo his medical after landing at Manchester Airport ahead of his £72 million move to Erik ten Hag.

Hojlund landed in Manchester on Tuesday afternoon and will now head to United’s Carrington training complex to complete required medical tests and put his contract in writing.

The striker has already personally agreed a five-year contract with the option of a further year and will join his new team-mates once they land back in England following the end of their pre-season tour of the Americas.

Hojlund’s arrival ends United’s search for a new goal-scoring striker with Ten Hag in the hope that the youngster can help end his side’s goal-scoring battle ahead of the new Premier League season.
