Footage has emerged on social media of Manchester United star Rasmus Hojlund seemingly ignoring his so-called lookalike after Sunday’s 3-0 win over West Ham.

Australian singer Sean Millis, who made his name on The Voice, has become something of a cult hero among English football fans who think he resembles Man United striker Hojlund.

Millis gained traction on social media after releasing a song titled Waiting on a Miracle, with fans reposting the video clip every time Hojlund failed to score, mocking the Danish star’s difficult start to the Premier League.

However, Hojlund eventually managed to break his top duck in late December, sending Millis’ song all over social media once again and even landing the Australian top spot on the UK Viral Charts.

With Hojlund seemingly over his Premier League hoodoo, Millis was present at Old Trafford and was spotted in a crowd of fans waiting outside the pitch.

Footage shows Hojlund leaving the stadium on his way home after completing the 3-0 victory as fans shouted his name.

One was Millis, while another was heard shouting, “Sean Millis is here!”

Millis himself shouted Hojlund’s name as the small group applauded the player as he came out.

However, the Danish attacker did not seem to hear the supporters and continued his way outside.

Hojlund has managed to come out the other side of a league drought with good performances for United.

After waiting until December 26 (15 games) to open his top-flight account, Hojlund has scored in every match he has played since, clearly helping the player gain traction in the league.

He also remains United’s top scorer in all competitions, thanks in large part to his impressive return in the club’s short Champions League campaign.

His ten goals led the way, ahead of Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay (all seven) and Marcus Rashford (five).

The form of Hojlund, Garnacho and youngster Kobbie Mainoo in midfield has led to praise for the trio amid a difficult campaign for the Red Devils.

The three were pictured on the billboards after Garnacho’s first goal of the match, replicating Mohammed Kudu’s similar celebration in the same match at West Ham earlier this season.

After the match, Hojlund spoke about his growing bond with Garnacho, both of whom scored again on the Dane’s 21st birthday.

“We are young, I just turned 21, he (Garnacho) is still 19, we are getting better every day and you can see the bond is growing,” he said.
