Rarely-seen Tracy Grimshaw looks strikingly different as she ditches her signature brunette hairstyle for new platinum look
Tracy Grimshaw looked noticeably different as she showed off her new look after ditching her signature hairstyle.
The former A Current Affair presenter, 64, is instantly recognizable by her brunette fringed bob, but has recently changed up her look.
She dyed her caramel locks platinum blonde in a striking new look and also trimmed her locks into a shorter, choppier bob.
Tracy looked very different when she appeared on Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie on Monday.
She complemented her platinum hairstyle with a glamorous makeup palette and cut a stylish figure in a leopard print blouse and black poncho.

On the radio show, she also addressed rumors about whether she will ever return to A Current Affair, after leaving the show in 2022 after 15 years on the channel.
During a conversation about people’s longer life expectancies in recent years, Michael “Wippa” Wipfli joked that she still had “40 years” to get back to ACA.
But Tracy refuted the speculation when she replied: ‘There’s no way that’s going to happen to me, I’m almost 100 per cent sure it’s not going to happen to me.’
Although she has ruled out a return to the show as a presenter, she did appear on the panel show last week in a gust of wind to promote her new series Do You Want To Live Forever? to promote.
She discussed her own health realizations after exploring her own wellbeing and discussing people’s aging and life expectancy in the Channel Nine docuseries.

The TV presenter admitted that during filming she realized that she consumes more alcohol than she previously thought.
‘I think I’ve discovered that I’m a binge drinker. I thought I only really drank one or two days a week in recent years, which isn’t that much. My liver will rest for five days,” she said.
‘But that’s actually not good enough, because if you go out on the street on Saturday evening, you are actually a binge drinker, not a moderate drinker.’
The new show explores the secrets of longevity and has inspired Tracy herself to change some of her habits.
However, she admitted she has no desire to live forever during a candid chat about advances in medicine on Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie.
Tracy recently confessed that she drinks more alcohol than she previously thought when she opened up about her health while appearing as a guest on A Current Affair
‘I think we were made to die. I think we are designed to eventually become extinct, and eventually our time is up,” she shared.
“So for me, longevity is about not being sick… you want to fall off the cliff, not roll down the hill.
“You don’t want the last 10 years of your life to be horrible because you have these kind of nagging illnesses and it keeps getting worse, especially things like cognitive decline. You don’t want that.
‘So if you can set up a system that protects you as much as possible against the diseases of aging, you will have a good quality of life until the time you check out.
Tracy’s comments came as she promoted her new docuseries, Do You Want To Live Forever?, which explores whether we can really turn back our biological clocks.
‘But there are also people who think: if we can live to be one hundred, why can’t we live to be one hundred and twenty?’
The docuseries about health and science also stars Dr. Nick Coatsworth stars, guiding six Aussies on a powerful journey to stop the clock and turn back time.
“I’d like to explore what exactly longevity will look like,” Tracey said in a statement about the project.
“I’m a bit of a medical nerd, so the research was fun.”
Tracy stepped away from ACA in 2022, with former Today co-host Ally Langdon filling her seat from January last year.
