She was the golden girl of television in the 1990s, winning four Gold Logies for her role as lead agent Maggie Doyle on Blue Heelers.

And Lisa McCune, who is rarely seen, looked like she hadn’t changed one bit when she stepped out in Melbourne on Monday.

The actress got a bargain when she visited her local operations store where she picked up a wooden bin.

Lisa, 52, dressed casually in a pair of beige Stüssy cargo pants and a green T-shirt with a black and white striped long sleeve underneath.

She completed her look with a pair of orange and beige sneakers, a silver bag with a black strap, and a pair of black and white sunglasses.

He was carrying the container in one hand while appearing to contain a plastic bag filled with other thrift store items.

In her other hand, the actress carried her car keys that featured a golden Oroton key ring.

It is not the first time that Lisa has been seen buying second-hand things.

The star masked up for a visit to an operations shop in August.

Lisa is currently the voice narrator for Channel Nine’s innovative new series Big Miracles, which documents couples’ IVF journeys.

Despite being one of Australia’s biggest television stars in the late 1990s and early 2000s, he has kept a relatively low profile in recent years.

Lisa’s decision to step back from the spotlight came after photos were published in 2012 of her kissing New Zealand opera singer Teddy Tahu Rhodes, her co-star in the stage production of the musical South Pacific.

In a recent interview with Stellar Magazine, Lisa opened up about why she had chosen to keep her private life out of the public eye.

She explained: “Over the last two years I’ve made the decision that while my children are teenagers, and I feel very strongly about it, my story affects their stories.”

Lisa married her husband Tim in 2000, and the former couple are parents to Archer, 21, Oliver, 18, and Remy, 17.

The Sydneysider rose to fame in Blue Heelers at the age of 22, most recently appearing opposite Peter Helliar in the Channel 10 comedy How to Stay Married.
