Alex Baskin, executive producer of Vanderpump Rules, shut down “wild” rumors on Tuesday that Raquel Leviss was pregnant at the FYC event in Los Angeles.
The TV personality, 28, notably had an illicit affair with co-star, Tom Sandoval, 39, and promptly ended his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix earlier this year in March.
While talking to Page six during the festivities, Baskin addressed claims that Raquel was expecting a child with Sandoval after the cheating scandal. The two have reportedly broken up since the affair came to light just months earlier.
“The pregnancy was wild,” he admitted to the outlet, then emphasized, “She’s not pregnant, by the way.”
The rumors recently started circulating on social media, with a since-deleted video on TikTok showing a user claiming to have received a message from a person who knew Raquel’s sister, per page six.

Closing: Vanderpump Rules executive producer Alex Baskin shut down ‘wild’ rumors that Raquel Leviss, 28, was pregnant at the FYC event in Los Angeles on Tuesday
Rumors: As Baskin spoke to Page Six during the festivities, he addressed claims that Raquel was expecting a child with Sandoval following the cheating scandal
She claimed that Leviss was “hiding” at her grandmother’s home in Arizona because she was pregnant.
Regarding the chance to talk to the reality star herself, the executive producer admitted, “I didn’t speak to her directly. She’s kind of cut off,” but added that he was aware that she was “doing well.”
Since the scam scandal, Raquel was admitted to a mental health facility last April.
In a statement to Entertainment tonightsaid the reality star’s rep, “Raquel and her family decided months before the relationship was discovered that she needed mental health treatment and ultimately decided that she would go to a voluntary mental health facility.”
“Raquel was supposed to go to the pre-reunion, but decided she wanted to finish her movie commitment,” explaining that she was in the “mental health and trauma therapy” facility.
Sandoval had previously defended Raquel’s decision to enter the facility when speaking to him TMZ. “I’m just telling you that Raquel is in a mental institution – no visitors, okay? No visitors, no family, no phone, nothing.’
“She’s there, or she decides to tell you afterwards where that is, there’s Raquel,” he continued the outlet.
Alex further stated: ‘We have had good reports back from her team – who are looking after her – and also from her family. I think it’s good she’s taking a moment to assess where she is.’
Lisa Vanderpump, who was also at the FYC event, told Page Six: “I think she’s off the grid. I respect that too. People have to leave. It’s been a lot, so maybe she just had to literally pull back and get together.”

Lisa previously told ET earlier this month: “I have had no contact with Raquel. I think she really needs to talk to us about what’s going on in her life, but Sandoval has been part of that group for fifteen years.”
“You know, four years before the show. So, of course, there are conversations and questions that need to be answered, and I hope they can get to that place. That’s what I really hope for them.’
She added, “I don’t think you can just close the door on anyone. I think we are all guilty of some things…maybe not that. But I think some kind of discussions are needed at some point, and I think we’ll be there for it.”
Shortly before the season finale aired last week on Wednesday, both Sandoval and Raquel had reportedly broken up following their month-long fling.
Raquel ducked. Sandoval is not for her,” a source told Page Six at the time.
Although their affair came to light in March after Ariana discovered an intimate video on Tom’s phone, the affair had actually started last summer in 2022.
Alex Baskin also opened up to Page Six about filming the 11th season of Bravo’s hit series, Vanderpump Rules, despite Ariana and other cast members not wanting to film with Raquel and Tom.
“I think it will all sort itself out in the coming weeks. It’s hard to plan because we’re more or less subject to real life forces,” he explained.
“But one thing I’ve seen is that this cast is very resilient and they eventually find their way back together. It’s just hard to see that right now. Look, Tom and Ariana still live together. So even just a little bit of the logistics of that connects them.”
Earlier this week on Monday, Madix was seen moving boxes from the home she shares with Tom. However, she later admitted that she wasn’t really moving and that it was a staged shoot for sponsored content.
Baskin spoke about the possibility of VPR being nominated for an Emmy, and the list of nominees will be announced on July 12. That would be extraordinary. It’s been a labor of love these past 11 years on this show. It’s been so intense.’
“But we also have to recognize the incredible work behind the scenes, all those people in post production and how innovative they are.”
But seriously, I’m really proud of this season and I think it’s just compelling and gripping for the audience that’s been embracing it for a number of years now. We’re doing our very best.’
Filming for VPR Season 11 is slated to begin later this year, though an exact start date and further details have yet to be revealed.
