Influencer and rapper Lil Tay has confirmed she is alive after a post on her officially verified Instagram account claimed that both she and her brother Jason Tian had passed away ‘unexpectedly’.
The 14-year-old controversial online star – who rose to fame at the age of nine after posting a series of vulgar videos – has finally spoken out to stop reports and rumors that she and her sibling had died, claiming her Instagram account was died ‘hacked’.
“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I am heartbroken and struggling to even find the right words to say,” Lil Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, shared. TMZ today, more than 24 hours after news of her alleged death first broke.
“It has been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful calls from loved ones as I tried to sort this mess out.”
