Rapper Lil Baby arrested in Las Vegas for having a concealed weapon without a permit
Lil Baby spent Monday night in jail after being arrested in Las Vegas for possession of an illegal weapon.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested the 29-year-old Grammy winner (born Dominique Armani Jones) for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit — a misdemeanor — and he is being held on $5,000 bail at the Clark County Detention Center, according to TMZ.
Lil Baby, who has 36.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, was last seen in high spirits on Sunday night at Los Angeles Clippers point guard James Harden’s 35th birthday party at MainRó in Hollywood.
Coincidentally, the last time the PJ rapper was with Harden arrested in 2021 in Paris on a marijuana-related charge. He was eventually ordered to pay a fine to French authorities.

In 2019, Lil Baby arrested in his hometown of Atlanta for ignoring turn signals, evading police and driving recklessly in his orange Corvette.
The former drug dealer has a long rap sheet dating back to 2012. He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell. In 2013, he possessed marijuana, and in 2014, he served two years in prison for possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Last Saturday, Lil Baby, who has 52.3 million followers on social media, gave fans a update about his upcoming fourth studio album: ‘Album 80% done #sorry4thewait.’
On the personal front, the Booker T. Washington High School dropout has welcomed two sons — Jason Armani Jones, almost 9; and Loyal Armani Jones, 5; — with baby mama #1 Ayesha Howard and baby mama #2 Jayda Cheaves.
Lil Baby reportedly purchased a $10-15 million Atlanta bachelor pad designed by Annysa LaMantia in 2022, which features a 15-foot-wide bed, a private movie theater, and a pool.
