Rapper Blueface has been jailed for more than six months after allegedly violating his probation for an attack on a Los Angeles nightclub bouncer.
Officials said Friday that the 26-year-old violated one or more of his probation conditions for the attack, which occurred in the San Fernando Valley in September 2021.
A hearing on the alleged probation violation was reportedly scheduled for Friday, although it is not clear what Blueface allegedly did.
A clip has emerged of the rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, allegedly heading to court and saying he’s going to “take care of some mandatory issues” before adding: “See you on the other side.”
Since then he has been behind bars in prison, TMZ reports, and is not expected to be released until July 2, 2024.

In a clip circulating online, Blueface said he would “take care of some mandatory issues” before adding “see you on the other side.”
Porter’s mother shared her “heartbreak” on the news, posting “my baby is in jail” on her Instagram Story on Friday.
She placed the blame on the two mothers of Porter’s children: Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock.
“Jaidyn got him one charge and Rock hit him with the charge violating the other,” she wrote, without providing further explanation.
It is not the only case for which Blueface has been placed on probation in connection with the hip-hop star, who must also be placed on probation for up to three years due to a shooting in Las Vegas.
He avoided jail time for the attack on Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road in November 2022.
Prosecutors initially charged Porter with attempted murder, but a plea deal reduced the charges to battery and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.
But the judge ordered Porter to pay out as much as $12 million for the venue’s lost revenue and another $84,000 to cover employee wage losses.

According to the police, the fine has remained unpaid TMZ Hip Hopand has since accrued interest, increasing the amount he owes to over $14,000,000.
In December, shocking footage emerged showing Porter bringing a female fan on stage before shoving her into his entourage while apparently shouting, “Get her!”
The incident took place during a club event that the LA rapper hosted with his on-and-off girlfriend Alexis.
According to several people on social media who attended the show, Alexis accused the woman of throwing ice at her, which is not seen in the social media videos.
It is not known whether the woman has reported the incident to the police.
