- In the US, baked potatoes are usually topped with sour cream, bacon and cheese
- But British diners often opt for beans or tuna as toppings
- Bhad Bhabie, 20, was recorded reacting in disbelief to the popular combination
Social media sensation Bhad Bhabie has shared her shock at discovering how Brits serve fried potatoes.
For most Americans, the toppings on baked potatoes are usually sour cream, bacon, and cheese — but, as the rapper just learned, that’s not universal, especially when it comes to the British version of the dish, known in Britain like a baked potato.
Recently, Bhad Bhabie filmed a 13-second TikTok clip at a restaurant, where she expressed her annoyance at Britain’s popular potato toppings.
The 20-year-old looked perplexed as she explained that in Britain people put beans or tuna on their fried potatoes.

The star gave an impassioned speech to the camera as she sat across from a friend.
She explained how a baked potato from the UK is prepared: “They put tuna… tuna… like you know how to make tuna salad… put it on a sandwich,” she says, pretending to make a knife used to make it. the meal.
“They put it on top,” she says, laughing. “They put it on top,” she repeats, pounding on the table.
“About the damn potato,” she says, bewildered.
She makes a confused face directly at the camera before her dinner guest is heard saying, “The baked potato.”
Bhad Bhabie then repeats the name with a British accent.
The overlapping text on the video read: ‘Peeps, you put tuna and or beans on baked potato?’ I’ve been there a few times, but I’ve never seen that before.’
A jacket potato is basically the British version of a jacket potato, just with a different range of toppings.

Instead of the American toppings of sour cream, crumbled bacon, chives and grated cheese, the most popular toppings in Britain consist of beans or tuna.
The only similarity the baked potatoes have in common is the fact that they are extra crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside.
When foodies want to make a perfectly delicious baked potato, it can take up to two hours to achieve the perfect balance.
In addition to the delicious taste, potatoes are also packed with vitamin C and fiber.
To prepare the potatoes in their skins, first pierce them with a fork and rub them all over with a little olive oil.
Bake it for 70 minutes and then let it cool for 10 minutes.
If you want to add bacon, place it in a skillet over high heat until crispy.
Then cut off the tops of the potatoes and mix the fluffy inner part with cheddar, garlic, bacon, sriracha and chili.
Return the potato mixture to the peels and bake for another 15 minutes with your toppings.
Add a tablespoon of crème fraîche and a pinch of chives.
Or, if you prefer the British way, as opposed to bhad bharbie, replace the inside mix with beans or tuna.
