A young couple accidentally transferred their $750,000 house payment to a wannabe rapper’s bank account — which he then spent in a wild spend, a court has heard.

Abdel Ghadia, 24, appeared before the Burwood Local Court in Sydney on Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to two charges of dealing with the proceeds of crime – after splashing on bars of gold, clothing, currency and, oddly enough, makeup .

According to an Fairfield attorney report, the court was told the unnamed couple was in the final stages of buying a new home when they transferred $759314 to Ghadia, instead of the Commonwealth bank account they were supposed to deposit the money into.

The court reportedly heard Ghadia told police he “just woke up and saw the money” – before spending nearly $600,000 worth of gold in a Sydney store, plus more than $110,000 in a separate store in Brisbane, where he also expensive coins.

Court facts showed that he also bought clothes from Uniqlo, make-up from Mecca and bought foreign exchange Advocate reported.

Ainslie Bullion, Brisbane: $62,843 on a 500 g gold bar and a 10 oz ingot. $48,222 worth of KHC gold coins were also purchased

The lawyer reported that when he was first arrested and asked if he spent the couple’s money, he said “no cuz” according to court papers.

He later admitted that he was going to spend the money after it was simply “deposited” into his account.

The shocked couple was devastated to learn that their money had not arrived in the designated account for settlement.

Court records from the Daily Mail Australia show that he pleaded guilty to two charges of handling the proceeds of a crime over $100,000.

As the case made its way through the legal system, Ghadia – who is known on YouTube as “Slimmy” – alluded to the incident in a post written entirely in rap.

Three months ago, he captioned a picture of himself on the phone holding a cup of coffee that read: “Detectives who make offers asking where the MONEY went,

“They’re tapping all my phone calls, but I’m speaking to another LINGO!!”

“He has taken life’s obstacles and placed them in one frame that represents his growing years in south-west Sydney,” it reads.

‘Through his music catalog (sic) people will understand him as a person and what he strives for.

“Whether he’s in front of the microphone or behind the scenes as a writer for others, either way, he’s going to be great.”

Ghadia has been hit by strict bail conditions that prohibit him from going near an international airport and has a curfew from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

He is sentenced on December 2.
