Nathaniel Lowe showed off his catching and beer-swilling talents as the Texas Rangers celebrated their first-ever World Series victory on Friday.
An estimated 300,000 Rangers fans lined up, piling dozens deep in some areas along a 2-mile route near the team’s ballpark for a parade to celebrate the franchise’s first world championship.
The celebration came two days after Texas wrapped up its World Series title with a 5-0 victory on the road in Game 5 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
And as the newly crowned champions celebrated the historic victory with their supporters, Lowe could be seen downing a beer thrown at him by a fan in a clip that went viral on social media.
The Rangers first baseman is seen in the trunk of a Toyota Tundra pickup with partner Brenna Karwich as a fan throws a can of beer at him from the crowd.

Impressively, Lowe catches him with ease before immediately going in for the kill and sucking him up in seconds.
As the crowd cheers his remarkable effort, he takes off his shirt and holds his arms up in celebration of the party trick.
Lowe hit .262 with 17 home runs, 82 RBIs and one stolen base to help Texas to World Series glory this year.
The Rangers won their first championship in their 63rd season as a franchise, which began as the expansion Washington Senators in 1961 before the team moved to Texas in 1972.
World Series MVP Corey Seager and AL Championship Series MVP Adolis Garcia were also part of the parade in the entertainment district of Arlington, the city where they play along Interstate 30 halfway between downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas.
Seager was also the World Series MVP in 2020 while playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who won that title in a neutral-site MLB postseason played at Globe Life Field during the COVID-19 pandemic. There was no holiday parade that season.
“Really a tight-knit group, just the ability to come together every night and compete. It’s a hard thing to do and this group was able to do it and we got to accomplish something special,” Seager said.

The Rangers arrived home to North Texas on Thursday, with Semien leaving first and hoisting the World Series trophy into the air as he stepped off the plane.
By then, some fans were already setting up spots along the parade route.
After starting at the south end of Globe Life Park, the parade passed by AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, and around Mark Holtz Lake, named for the late Rangers broadcaster known for his “Hello Win Column! ‘ phone call. The parade then passed by the Rangers’ former ballpark, where they played in their only other World Series appearances in 2010 and 2011.
Players had to address fans at an outdoor ceremony after the parade returned to the retractable-roof stadium they have called home since 2020.
