Ramsgate Coles: Chaos as out-of-control SUV hits two pedestrians and several cars in southern Sydney

Chaos broke out in a Coles car park when an out-of-control SUV allegedly struck two pedestrians before crashing into several cars in Sydney's south.

The 78-year-old driver of a white Hyundai SUV lost control of his vehicle at 11.10am on Thursday morning and allegedly struck two pedestrians aged 53 and 63 in the car park of the Coles supermarket on Grand Parade, Ramsgate in Sydney's south .

The out-of-control vehicle also left a trail of destruction, damaging several cars parked in the supermarket parking lots.

“The 78-year-old male driver of the SUV, along with the 53-year-old and 63-year-old pedestrians, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics,” NSW Police said.

“The 78-year-old driver and the 53-year-old pedestrian were taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.”

A spokesperson for St George Hospital told Daily Mail Australia that both patients were in a stable condition.
