As Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony was underway at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, sculptor Arun Yogiraj, the craftsman responsible for carving the idol, shared his views and thoughts on the much-awaited inauguration. Speaking to news agency ANI, Yogiraj called himself the ‘happiest person on earth’.
“I am the happiest person on earth. The blessings of my ancestors, relatives and Lord Ram Lalla have always been with me. Sometimes I feel like I am in a dream world. This is the greatest day for me,” he said. said.
The sculptor of Ram Lalla depicts Lord Ram as a five-year-old. The first images of the 51-inch idol were released on Monday morning as Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the pran pratishthan ceremony. Lord Ram can be seen adorned in yellow and gold attire with ornaments at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Trust authorities stated that this idol was chosen over two others because it represented divinity and royalty along with capturing innocence.

The ceremony started at 12.20 pm and ended at 1 pm in the presence of Prime Minister Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other dignitaries.
Four thousand saints and 2,200 other guests have been invited for the ceremony, including celebrities like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, Rishab Shetty, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Sunny Deol, Prabhas and Yash. Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia Topiwala, who played Ram and Sita in the 1987 serial Ramayan, have also been extended invites.

In preparation for the festivities, the central government has declared a half-day holiday for central government offices and institutions, leading to notices from the Maharashtra government to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and stock exchanges on Friday.
