And what makes her outing more intriguing is that her partner showed off an engagement ring during the outing.
Ralph has been spending time in the Italian capital while filming his latest movie, Conclave, a thriller based on the Robert Harris novel of the same title.
Enjoying the Sunday stroll, the actor and his apparent love interest headed out for lunch before doing some shopping on the way back.

The actor’s guest linked her arm through his as they walked through town, rocking a pair of beige wide-leg jeans with a plain white T-shirt.
She added a colorful neckerchief and black blazer over the ensemble, and looked like she was rocking a sparkling engagement rock.
While Ralph went casual in a triple jean jacket, shirt and jeans combo while wrapping himself in a scarf.
The duo appeared in high spirits as they chatted and smiled after doing some shopping.
While the identity of his guest is unknown, it seems Ralph might be off the market once again.
A spokesman for the actor was not available for comment.
Ralph was previously married to actress Alex Kingston, 59, but in 1997 the couple separated after 14 years together.
The screen star was alleged to have had an affair with Francesca Annis, who is 17 years his senior, and the pair reportedly struck up an affair that same year.
But after more than a decade together, the actor was once again at the center of more affair rumors.

Ralph has been pictured spending time in Rome in recent weeks as he made his way to the film set to play the starring role of Cardinal Lomeli in his new film, which focuses on the hypothetical behind-the-scenes story of what goes on in the Vatican after the Pope dies.
Conclave will also star Stanley Tucci as Cardinal Bellini, John Lithgow as Cardinal Tremblay, and Isabella Rossellini as Sister Agnes.
The film is being produced by House Productions and FilmNation Entertainment.
