Ralf Rangnick ‘TURNS DOWN’ Bayern Munich job, forcing them to turn to ‘Plan D’ after Xabi Alonso and Julian Nagelsmann rejected taking over

Ralf Rangnick has reportedly turned down the chance to replace Thomas Tuchel as Bayern Munich manager this summer.

Bayern had discussed a deal with Rangnick, which would see him leave the post in Austria early.

However, Rangnick plans to continue his contract with Austria until its expiry in 2026 and will lead them to Euro 2024 this summer. BIL.

Bayern and Tuchel announced in February that he would leave the club at the end of the season, which was disappointing.

Die Roten had previously tried to employ Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso and Germany’s Julian Naglesmann, but both rejected their advances.
