Raiders stars roll out victory cigars after gaining the upper hand in their first appearance since Josh McDaniels’ firing… as new coach Antonio Pierce lets out a rallying cry: “See you motherf*****s Wednesday!”

The Las Vegas Raiders celebrated their 30-6 loss to the New York Giants with victory cigars in the locker room.

Not only did the blowout win provide the best atmosphere the Raiders locker room has seen since the firing of head coach Josh McDaniels, but it also kicked off Antonio Pierce’s tenure as interim head coach with a blowout win.

To make Pierce’s first win as an NFL coach even sweeter for the people of Las Vegas, it came against the team he spent most of his storied NFL career with.

Pierce spent five years as a middle linebacker for the Giants, where he was eventually named a Pro Bowler and also won a Super Bowl.

Before that, he spent four seasons with the NFC East rival Washington Commanders – who were known at the time as the Washington Redskins.

It was the first win of the post-Josh McDaniels era

The news emerging from the other side of Allegiant Stadium was not as cheerful as the Giants’ fear that starting quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a torn ACL in the loss.

Jones went down without contact at Allegiant Stadium in the second quarter while trying to avoid Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

The 26-year-old fell to the ground after his knee appeared to give way, before being taken out of the game after the first play of the quarter.

“It felt like it buckled, and then he ran it away. “We went up to him, we talked to him, he said, ‘I’m fine,’ and then went back inside, but obviously that wasn’t the case,” Giants head coach Brian Daboll said. “We need to get the next guy ready.”

It appeared that Jones initially hurt the knee on the final play of the first quarter and commentators even noted that he appeared to have tried to walk away from the pain during the commercial break.

Pierce and the Raiders will look to keep the good spirits going next week when they take on the New York Jets in a primetime matchup on “Sunday Night Football.”
