‘I’ll never be that guy:’ Raiders’ Maxx Crosby slams division rival Joey Bosa for being a ‘crybaby’ after Chargers playoff loss as linebacker criticized umpires after being tagged for the jaguars
Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby called out division rival Joey Bosa for his comments after the Chargers’ first-round playoff loss to the Jaguars, as the linebacker criticized the officiating, saying that ” there must be more responsibility” among the referees.
Bosa was understandably upset after a 31-30 loss to the Jaguars, where the Chargers blew a 27-point lead and ultimately became the victim of the third-biggest comeback in postseason history.
That comeback was aided by a late unsportsmanlike conduct penalty handed to Bosa after he believed the officials missed a false start, allowing the hosts to score a two-point conversion from the one-yard line and ultimately win the match. I play for one point.
Bosa, who also committed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty earlier in the game, said afterwards: “I think there just needs to be more responsibility.” “I mean, if I tell them anything, I get fined $40,000, but if they botch a call that ruins an entire team’s season, they’ll probably go back to the locker room after the game like,
‘Haha I’ve got that shit hole. I got it. Fifteen yards, what a loser.”

Joey Bosa vented his frustrations on the refs after a cataclysmic loss to the Jaguars.
Those comments were roundly criticized by Crosby, who called Bosa “weak” for venting about the officiating after the game.
“Couple games ago, when the damn guy had a meltdown and blamed the refs,” Crosby said on Barstool’s Bussin’ With The Boys podcast. ‘I see guys blaming, oh fuck, O-linemen hold up all the time. The referees do not call it.
‘I’ll never be that guy. S*** like this is so weak for me. You are going to be retained. I know they hold me back all the time. You see the last series of the Rams against us. He was literally being accosted.
“I’m not going to go and double down and look like a fucking crybaby,” he said. ”That is not me.’
Bosa took some responsibility for his penalties after the loss, saying: “I think I need to be more responsible for my actions, obviously.”
“But it’s a heated game and it hurts, I play with half of one leg, they drag me to the ground. It could hurt me, as well as screw up our team.
