Raiders defensive end Chander Jones has claimed that a hacker was responsible for the disturbing allegations against team owner Mark Davis on his social media accounts.
Jones, who was made inactive for Sunday’s loss to the Billsaccused Davis of “having a big secret,” and said he was banned from the team’s facilities for allegedly discovering his goddaughter was being “abused.”
But on Monday afternoon, the 33-year-old insisted he was not responsible for the social media tirade. “Sorry for the confusion, I’ve been hacked… please forgive me,” he wrote. “We have confiscated my account, again I apologize.”
Prior to the Raiders’ 38-10 loss to the Bills, Jones claimed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he was the only person who knew Davis’ “secret.”
“I wish I could play with my brothers, but Marky Mark has a big secret that only I know!” he said.
Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones made the disturbing allegations on Sunday
“That’s why I asked for my protection, sorry if I sound scared because I’m not lol, when I found out I was lol.
Jones continued his claims, writing, “(Davis) did not know that I had no children and that I was raising the child of a very important man, I will not mention his name. But when I found out what had been done to this little girl, I wasn’t allowed back in the building.
“Now that you’re taking money out of my pocket, I’m watching my team lose because. someone was molesting my goddaughter,” he wrote.
“You can call me whatever you want, CTE, a dumb football player, a dumb black man…whatever you guys want, keyboard warriors. Meanwhile, our children are being abused.
“That’s why I couldn’t get a sack today. Because people wanted to (rape) my stepdaughter and didn’t expect me to be upset.”
Mail Sport contacted the Raiders for comment.
The 33-year-old also said that ‘this man and I had an agreement’, and claimed that a ‘high class guy’ stopped him from contacting his family.
It comes after another rant on social media on September 5, in which Jones claimed he did not want to play for the team if head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler were present.
In that same outburst, Jones also claimed he was not allowed into the Raiders facility. “They won’t let me into the building, try to provoke a ****,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
“And they had direct contact with my (baby mama) and we haven’t been together for five years.”
Jones also shared texts that appeared to be sent to McDaniels and another member of the Raiders organization complaining about being shunned from the team.
“It’s a shame that I’m a top athlete with 112 sacks in the NFL and I have to go to a local gym to work out during the season for no apparent reason,” he said in one alleged message.
“I think this is wild, Josh, and you know you have to do what’s right.”
Jones signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the team last year and will take home $17 million this year.
