Radio star looks unrecognisable in childhood school photograph – but can you guess who it is?

A major Australian radio star has posted a throwback photo in which she looks very different from her usual glamorous attire and flawless makeup.

This 37-year-old media personality has earned a lucrative income as an anchor, model, and radio host.

She is engaged to a multi-millionaire private jet mogul and has listed big Hollywood wigs like Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso as her close friends.

But her growing success almost collapsed last year when her radio show was axed to make way for someone bigger and better.

So can you guess who it is?

It’s Nova’s newest radio star Lauren Phillips.

The socialite recently lost her radio show on KIIS FM after the station’s stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson stepped foot on her Melbourne property.

Now she and co-host Jase Hawkins have been picked up by Nova Entertainment, with the pair resuming work earlier this month.

The duo shared a throwback photo of Lauren on Sunday, showing her as a young child in her elementary school photo.

With a crooked smile and a gray uniform, Lauren looks cute with her dark locks pulled back from her face with a purple scrunchie.

The post comes after Lauren cringed on Wednesday when her radio hosts dug up her high school sex education homework.

She was left red-faced when Jase and Clint Stanaway revealed live on Nova 100 that someone had found the homework she turned in for her sex education class at school.

They embarrassed her even more and then read out the list of the pros and cons of sex, causing Lauren to threaten to walk away.

The list was simply titled “Sex!” and some of the benefits she mentioned were fun, closeness and a special bond.

Lauren initially seemed happy with her answers as she said, “Oh look, that’s nice!” but Clint was left hanging as he continued.

‘How about this one? You don’t have to please yourself. And there is one more that stands out: fitness!’ he said laughing.

The other benefits included falling in love, creating life, feeling fulfilled and stopping raging hormones, while there was also a long list of disadvantages.

Lauren was quick to note that she had put “safety first” when she included STDs on the list of cons, along with pain, unsafe sex and pregnancy.

However, Jase noticed that she had put money on the cons list and joked, “Why is there money on that?” Do you charge for it?’

Lauren seemed unconvinced of the legitimacy of the list when she asked, “Is it my handwriting?”

But Jase insisted it was her handwriting, as he confirmed: “It’s definitely your handwriting.”
