But radio star Fifi Box revealed the truth about the “secret marriage” on Monday, saying she only wore the white dress to see Adele perform at her Sin City residency.
On her breakfast show Fifi, Fev & Nick in Melbourne on Monday, she said she agreed to wear the dress in exchange for tickets to the British superstar’s show.
The mother-of-two explained that her ‘Mad Mando’ boss agreed to pull some strings for Fifi and her co-host Brendan Fevola to get some expensive tickets, but only if they get Adele to play during the show. to talk to them.
“The only way we could get these tickets was if we could get Adele to talk to us,” Fifi said.
“The idea was to get her attention if I looked like a bride, because we know that she speaks to people at all her concerts.”

Fifi and Brendan were elated that they nailed the stunt.
“The mission was to get Adele to talk to us. She looked me in the eye and said ”congratulations” and I even got the ”oi” said Fifi.
