Radio host Kyle Sandilands reveals his extraordinary pilot for the Australian Idol concert, which includes traveling by private jets to the set, while other A-list judges including Harry Connick Jr and Meghan Trainor have to fly in ECONOMY.
Kyle Sandilands has admitted he made serious demands on Channel Seven before signing on as a judge on the reboot of the Australian Idol singing competition.
Speaking on the Will & Woody show on KIIS FM, the athlete insisted that he needs special accommodations due to his failing health, including the use of a private plane to get to and from the set.
“That’s just my day-to-day commuter,” the 51-year-old explained of riding the plane, adding that he’s also been given special privileges for “years and years” on the radio.

The radio personality only gets the best when it comes to accommodation, but claims she needs luxurious hotel rooms while traveling with her fiancée Tegan Kynaston and their son Otto.
“I don’t do standard hotel rooms, I just do the best suite available in a five-star hotel,” he said.
“Before I was in a trailer park in Gosford for the week and didn’t care, but now I have a kid, I have a fiancé, I have the big radio show.”

In 2021, Kyle said his doctor was “very concerned” about him because his “blood pressure is through the roof” and warned that he could “die instantly”.
Kyle explained that he had been trying to eat healthy and had even lost six kilos, going from 145kg to 139kg.
The radio mogul welcomed his first child in August last year and admitted he had never really thought about becoming a father until he met his 37-year-old fiancée.
