Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson opened up about the poor state of her physical and mental health last year, which forced her to take two months’ leave.

Jackie focused on both her physical and mental recovery during the two months she was off the air and was able to lose pounds and realign herself mentally.

She said a tropical vacation in Fiji with her 12-year-old daughter Kitty helped her develop a healthy eating and sleeping routine that helped her return to work in January.

‘I started doing different types of exercise like tennis and water aerobics. It is the most amazing exercise and it works every muscle in your body,ā€ she said.

Jackie added that it was important for everyone to recognize their limits and take a break when necessary to avoid the risk of burnout.

“Whatever position you’re in, I promise you’ll feel better about yourself when you start taking steps toward that healthier lifestyle.”

In November, he announced that he would be leaving KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show for health reasons.

Jackie, who had been coughing and sounding bad on the air for weeks, explained that she had suffered from poor health since contracting Covid-19 a few months ago and needed adequate rest to recover.

“I haven’t been very well since I had Covid… I’ve been struggling with this fatigue,” he told listeners.
