Rachel Weisz stunned in New York City on Thursday when she arrived on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in a black suit covered in glittering rhinestones.

The radiant Oscar winner, 53 – who recently stunned in a plunging midnight blue dress at Cannes – glowed in her chic design as she waved to fans outside the studio.

Weisz’s suit accentuated her fit body with shoulder pads and she added subtle pops of color to her look with blushed lips and a crimson manicure.

The English beauty’s dark hair was styled in glossy waves and her glamor emphasized the porcelain perfection of her skin.

Rachel is currently on a whirlwind press tour promoting her new miniseries Dead Ringers, which drops April 21 on Amazon Prime.

The six-episode miniseries is a gender-swapped adaptation of director David Cronenberg’s 1988 psychological thriller of the same name, which starred Jeremy Irons as twin gynecologists who run an infertility clinic.

The arrival of Rachel’s Late Show comes after she shared that she was “obsessed” with the original movie and that it was she who brought the idea of a female-led remake to Amazon.

Amazon first announced the project in August 2020, prompting direct serial ordering and production to begin in August 2021.

Set in New York, Weisz plays both Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes.

They work together to push the boundaries of medical ethics in an effort to challenge outdated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.

The key to the plot is the relationship between them, she explained THR last month.

“Beverly is altruistic, thoughtful, careful and kind. She wants to change the way women give birth.

“Elliot is very, very different. She is not altruistic and she pushes the boundaries of what is ethical.’

The Mummy star added, “It’s pretty naughty sometimes. Emotional. Moving. And there’s some humor too – dark, darkly humorous.

“It’s a very intense relationship. They love each other very much, but I think they feel everything about each other very deeply, and that takes us to a more dangerous co-dependent place.”

David Cronenberg’s original film is an adaptation of Bari Wood and Jack Geasland’s 1977 novel Twins, which was loosely based on the true story of twin gynecologists Stewart and Cyril Marcus.

They were both found dead in July 1975 in separate rooms of Cyril’s Manhattan apartment aged just 45, with Stewart dying of a barbiturate overdose and Cyril suspected of possibly committing suicide in a suicide pact after finding his brother dead .
