Rachel Riley says becoming a mum DIDN’T quash daredevil impulses because she wasn’t reckless before

Rachel Riley has confessed that she… wish she could say that becoming a mother made her daring tendencies disappear, but in fact she was never one for reckless abandon.

The Countdown presenter, 36, shares daughters Maven, two, and 11-month-old Noa, with her former Strictly pro husband Pasha Kovalev, 42.

She said, “I’m not one of those people who was about to jump out of a plane before I became a parent.

‘Motherhood makes you live much more in the moment. You just enjoy them day after day – especially when they are small.’

It comes after Rachel was forced to hold back her laughter on a recent episode of Countdown – when the sign spelled out an X-rated sentence.

The mix of vowels and consonants was rearranged to spell “Jiz Louder” on the board, with the host noticing and grinning at the camera.

Rachel looked typically stylish for the daytime TV appearance as she wore a floral print maxi dress in white, yellow, orange and pink.

While her blonde locks were styled in a soft curl, the co-host went for a subtle makeup palette.

The contestants on the show, Tom and Steve, tried to form a word from the selection of letters – I, D, L, O, R, U, E, J, Z.

Tom suggested “louder,” and while Rachel rearranged the letters into their correct shape and created the six-letter word, she in turn had to make the phrase “Jiz Louder” on the board.

As the camera turned back to the TV star, she looked between the sign and straight ahead—before grinning and turning.

It’s not the first time Rachel, who has hosted the show for over a decade, has had to keep her cool with the board, with ‘Vaginas UK set to be featured in July’.

And that phrase wasn’t so overlooked that time, with contestants Thomas and Mike even seeing the funny side.

The last set of letters were I, N, V, A, A, G, S, U and K and host Colin Murray had asked Thomas what his word was after the clock had run out.

He said “vagina” but when Colin asked Mike what his word was, he replied “vaginas.”

Colin, obviously tickled by the funny moment, said, “Vaginas, well there you go, putting an s at the end, what a difference that makes.

‘Always plural. Pluralize everything, and there you go.’

The moment failed the onlookers and they laughed along as Riley raised an eyebrow.
