Rachel Leviss called Tom Sandoval an “a**hole” on her latest Rachel Goes Rogue podcast episode.
The 29-year-old Vanderpump Rules alumna slammed her ex-lover for being manipulative towards his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix and also towards himself, his ex-mistress.
On her Tuesday episode of her iHeartRadio podcast, she talked about her therapy sessions at a mental health treatment center in the aftermath of Scandoval.
She said it was at the said facility that she realized that Sandoval manipulated her when she was still vulnerable to breaking off her engagement to James Kennedy and also betrayed her when he filmed her without her consent.
During the episode, she also revealed that she promised herself not to date for an entire year and was “emotionless” during the season 10 reunion.

When asked how she felt about Sandoval’s treatment towards Madix and how he blamed her for his infidelity, she said it was “messed up.”
“I don’t condone that at all,” she said. “I think Tom is using Ariana’s mental health against her. And it’s very manipulative and confusing.
“I think he could have handled it in a much more mature way,” she added of the former couple’s split, which she said Sandoval wanted to initiate but didn’t for months. “But who knows if he’s even capable of that.”
She recalled undergoing trauma therapy and telling her therapist that she was struggling with her feelings about betraying Sandoval by sharing more of her side of the story about their affair in her one-on-one interview.
She said she realized the ways in which Sandoval was manipulating her when her therapist asked her the question, “But didn’t Tom betray you first?”
After “thinking about that,” Leviss said she realized he had hurt her when “he asked me to lie knowing I wasn’t a good liar and I told him I don’t like lying.”
She also said that “the biggest way” he betrayed her was when he filmed her without her knowledge and consent in the infamous FaceTime recording that Madix would later discover, exposing their months-long affair behind her back .
Leviss added that she blamed Sandoval for putting her in “a really bad situation with my friendships and this placement on an international reality TV show where my reputation was on the line.”

‘He knew I was going through heartbreak and I’ve heard him say in his interviews, ‘Oh, Rachel really came into her own,’ and that’s what attracted him to me. And (now) I’m thinking, “You son of a bitch, you could have just let me (and) live. Why can’t you encourage me as a friend?”
As for why she believes Sandoval has power and influence over her, she said that at the time it felt like “he was the only person” supporting her.
