Rachael Finch was admitted to hospital on Thursday and underwent a series of tests after suffering from severe migraines.
The Miss Universe Australia winner, 35, turned fitness influencer, documented her journey in a series of photos posted to Instagram, including one of herself attached to an IV bag.
‘When [my husband] Misha and I met for the first time. I was suffering from severe migraines,” she wrote in the caption.
‘They haven’t said hello in years. However, this felt much worse. No matter what I got in the hospital yesterday, the headache remained.’
Rachael then revealed that doctors gave her a full check-up with scans and a spinal fluid sample, before telling her to rest and work on her recovery.
‘Doctors took nice pictures of my chest and tested me again for all the classic diseases. They also took a sample of my spinal fluid. No stress, I just needed some extra love from the people in blue.
‘What started as a fever and headache turned into what felt like a bomb about to explode in my head.
‘It wouldn’t go away for days no matter what I took. All the doctors and nurses in the hospital are just wonderful. So grateful.’
